China vice premier Liu in US next week to resume trade talks - Reuters
China's top economic adviser, the vice premier Liu He will be visiting Washington next week to resume trade talks with the Trump administration, White House said on Monday.
A seven-member US delegation led by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, during their Beijing visit last week, asked China to slash its trade surplus with the US by $200 billion. However, the two sides failed to reach an agreement but have agreed to continue to talks.
