Wall Street closes mixed pressured by European data

The US stocks market has closed Thursday mixing red and green numbers as news of a host of M&A deals competed with bad economic data in Europe.

The Dow Jones closed 9.52 points or 0.07% down to 13,973.39. The S&P 500 advanced 1.05 points or 0.07% to 1,521.38. And the Nasdaq Composite added 1.78 points or 0.06% to 3,198.66.
