US stocks closed mixed as commodities weight

FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street closed with a mixed note in the first day of the week as investors digested last week US economic data, Ukraine and Russia crisis' news on ceasefire and declines in commodities prices.

The Dow Jones dropped 25.94 pts or 0.15% to finish at 17,111.42; the S&P 50 eased 6.17 pts or 0.31% to 2,001.54; while the Nasdaq Composite advanced 9.39 pts or 0.20% to close the day at 4,592.29.
